A Wall Away.

Huddled together all night under a large tarpaulin cape, away from the wind, cold and chucking down rain, sitting next to a stonewall, Jim and his army mates perhaps didn’t have the best of nights sleep! Standing up to stretch the next morning, Jim twisted round and at the same time happened to glance over his shoulder and the wall, to see a dozen German soldiers doing much the same: Waking up!

“What did you do?” “Did you shoot them?” I would ask.

The answer was always the same.

A long Silence and then,

“What do you Think?”
