Wash Your Own Brain.

Of the media, tv or radio presenters that write and say, or even suggest in their ‘smug to the mug’ roundabout way,
“If you don’t know” For example, “what’s going off in some soap or who’s who in football?”
“Where have you been living?" "On the Moon!” etcetera, blah, blah, baa! baa! baa!

What an overpaid, jumped up bunch of people these are; that’s who ‘we’ allow, sub-consciously or otherwise, to brainwash us!
Why should you even pretend to know the things preached by these Biased Broadcasting Companies?
How interested do you think all these people and their ideals and idols are in your life?

Be careful! Don’t get washed away by the fathomlessly fashionable ‘sheep herded’ shower, or their creators!

Inside your head at the very least! Go into the Woods, the Forest or out on the Ocean, take all the time you need to relax.

Stand tall, yet settle youself down inside… Breathe in deep… feel good, Breathe out… take a slow look around, listen carefully, and quietly think!

Ask yourself! What does all this that surrounds me now, care for our society of human kind today?
It will tell you, through your forgotten, buried, but re-realizing senses, without words!
Of an unsocial associated society that is marinated in twenty-four hour television.
One that produces fell Forests of daily pulp newspapers, each one taking the individual a littered week to read.
And one of a ‘cultured’ media, strung, pulled and hung society growing up its own arse, (For want here of a better cliché; with respect only going to this part of the human anatomy, with none going to its led society!), and out of touch from the free, Natural World.

When what really matters is that we all keep in touch with the awareness of knowing these feelings, these facts!

For what tells your senses these things, cares not much, in fact not at all, so why on our senses should we call?

Only that it gives us the option of having many more choices, and so many more views on life, (very un-like the staid rank of BBC’s Britain!) and being able to take them without feeling socially inferior, only Superior! How nothing Owen, Posh, Becks, soaps and the car that you want and don’t need become in relation to this realization.

How many years have we gone on in this country, paying in many more ways than in just monetary terms, for three channels, with a fourth finally coming boldering in, talking about a revolution in television broadcasting and then falling into line, after a slightly less than brave attempt to show a broader viewing horizon! 10 out of 10 for breaking a little new ground, - then again initially it’s always possible for new broadcasting companies to do this when they want to bring EVERYONE on board for ballast! - Zero for letting it slip away and catering for the mind of the herd. Pulling the carpet away on the open-minded is always a lot less riskier for the broadcasters than brushing the former away or at least into place, because open-minded people will watch all most anything.

Over the decades on the Island of Britain, with such a narrow band of broadcasting developing a national viewing mindset, it was always bound to influence every British human inhabitant’s perception in a deep rooted and blinkered way.

*Today, as I’m writing this, in their grudging nod at an address to this predicament, and in reality only being brought on because there is more competition from the Sky tv channels, rather than by any sense of commitment to developing a deeper culture for Britain and her Nation of people, there are doctored and mutated and regurgitated channels seeping through. Basically the same old tripe repackaged in a unvetted attempt at giving us Brits the illusion of more Choice!

Our own wide ranging abilities, along with an ever growing multinational creed of people have never had a FULL representation and push forwards in ANY British medium that their diverse talents rightly deserve.
So much so that our society has become a fragmented reflection of a narrow, single-minded media!
FOR BRITAIN TODAY THAT FACT IS THE ONLY REAL NEWS THAT MATTERS!
ONE THAT REQUIRES A PRINTING PRESS CHANGE IN THINKING!
THAT IS IF WE WANT TO GO FORWARD TOGETHER AS A NATION MAKING A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE FOR OUR COUNTRY'S PEOPLE AND SO COUNTING TOWARDS A FOR THE WORLD?

Ever thought why the broadcasting powers that be don’t let the satellite channels in on their terrestrial territories, and into everybody’s homes? Let the people of our Country vote with their fingers, and let’s see what the citizenship would really like to watch! That is what I call transmitting democratically, a genuine free choice! What are these GREAT broadcasting companies afraid of? If the programmes that they are so keen to broadcast are the programmes which the British Public want to watch? Who are they to choose for YOU? THEY ARE CLEARLY BIASED TO THEIR OWN ENDS AND GAINS!

Obviously that would be completely their own business (OR WOULD IT? THEY SHOULD HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE EFFECT THAT THEY HAVE ON SOCIETY!) If we didn't’t pay a licence fee! Although this is only a secondary reason in comparison to the bracketed statement! And you would naturally presume, all been fair (?) That someone else would come along and test the ether, - (After all no one governs the airwaves do they? And if they do who are they to play God?) - Someone with more than just Independence! Someone built with Determination, Intelligence and Courage as well. Enough at least to show DIFFERENT tv PROGRAMMES! and to STICK WITH THESE PROGRAMMES LONG ENOUGH TO CREATE NEW CROSS-OVER VIEWERS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIFFERENT VIEWING INTERESTS! TO ADD NEW INGREDIENTS TO BRITAIN’S MOULDY tv INFLUENCED CULTURE & SOCIETY. i.e. A BETTER OVERALL CULTURE IN DEPTH!

Or is there more behind the pixels than meets the retina? Is my letter to the Prime Minister totally naive? I’ll not write anymore then! I’ll just kick back and watch some Crap like brookside, salon or big brother, and go along with it all, and when my brain eventually turns to mush, (or even worse I half accept it as I pretend in the name of open-mindedness that it’s all harmless good fun,) I may just have enough intellect left to manage to discern the back bone in Britain’s Nation weaken, via the Brain to the broadcasting ideals of a proteinlessly limp committee of tv executives, directors and producers (SEE LETTER TO PRINCE CHARLES… HOW CAN four TELEVISION CHANNELS…) Who the Hell are these people? This question is a very important one because they have more power over our home Country than any elected Government! At this very moment and for a very long time, ever since we were sat down wearing nappies in front of their television sets; Thankfully! Not quite my generation, obviously-(?) when I was in diapers there wasn't’t any breakfast time tv, and the last thought on anybody’s mind would have been to turn the box on at that time of day! In fact there wouldn't’t have been a thought to it AT ALL! Also at the end of each evening tv programmes ran out! Ending to a little white dot with an high pitched whistle, it seemed, deliberately made annoying so that you turned the television off! A time when there was only three channels and during parts of the day when there wasn't’t anything to broadcast there would only be the famous test cards! Now instead of focusing on quality the powers that be fill every second in between the occasionally decent programmes with absolute mind-numbing garbage – a step backwards from the test card in my opinion because you would switch off the smiling girl, instead of being induced into a hypnotic trance by some rubbish! - Television used to be a treat! One that we have always had the privilege of paying for! Now this as become an addiction that we have slap ourselves out of pretty sharpish! This is long over due! Before we become totally gar gar as this medium increases its pulling power even more with vast and vaster screens pouring out richly mesmerizing mind-candy - They have grafted our minds into the palms of their hands!

The point that I’am making is this - On a comparatively small Isle should such a powerful media tool of biasing public influence be left solely to these relatively unknown individuals? A media that today, more than ever before in the history of British communications, shapes the views, biases and overall thoughts of our Nation! (but thankfully not our Planet!) I think not! Moreover, I also think that everyone of us should make it our business to be about a fresher less stagnant Britain. As we, the only Half brainwashed have just enough sense in us left to realize our position UNDER their influences, therefore Our part in this business has to be demanded from ourselves now!

The Kings, Queens, Prime Ministers, Presidents, maniac rulers will all tell you how important a role tv and the other media are on people’s psyche, and how important it is to be able to control (?) these media, and be seen with the media manufactured personalities, that are to be fostered and foisted partners in ‘our’ lives! And placed firmly onto our mind’s landscape by some board of persons we don’t know! We wouldn't’t let strangers effect us physically so why do we let strangers effect us psychologically? Subtle, the mind controls the body; these are clever people which we are dealing with! Or have we become proportional to their effects: Unwittingly DUMB!

But savior! Yet again in spite of the media system in this country! This time the computer now comes into its own, and into play also comes the possibilities of their digital video cameras. The possibility to film and broadcast your event, your own unique and special life. (See my letter to Prince Charles.) People of all ages are spending more and more time in front of their PCs instead of their tvs - Why watch other people on tv, who have been selected for you to watch, and know about? By and on other people’s prejudiced tv net works and broadcasts! - Can you then blame me or anyone for wanting to be famous too? Why wait around for the bbc to show off your life? Now is the time, via a fledgling new medium, of the chance to share in a control over your Country’s cultural views, and influence your society for the Good!

Individual People’s ‘Computervision’ is bound to happen anyway! Although we need IPC to happen sooner rather than later. The new mobile picture phones are another step in the right direction towards the fame of the deserving unknown! Technology will one day oust the bigoted television personnel because they are unwilling and traditionally unable to change their minds.
Television! A fine invention! Will one day find better keepers to utilize its full potential! Creating a better World; in Britain turning our backs on a tv culture of Trash, would be the beginnings of a better Culture!

Without the many and various, parasitic media/advertising moguls wishing their selective news, nay, views onto us. Forcing them into our collective minds’ mouths, which when un-gagged would like to say, “What else can we try instead to be happy?” Away from the gluttoness misery of this ovine led, consummate consumer-ship, which has bought and brought its self everything but the real joy of happiness.

The communications of these media are at their best, when Measured, Balanced, Real and True; they help us all. Not when they become an over-focused, blown out of all proportion, bull-biased, social and cultural hindrance!

Switch off ‘their’ television! Switch On YOUR Personal Computer! Film your life’s interests. Write your own Real-News-papers. Start your own stations of communications! Perceive yourself as the ready participant not the evergreen spectator. Watch but be the creator! See the creation of your Own life! Try to find that other ever-present inner voice, and listen with intent. The one that’s never fooled! Seek the companionship of that very clever familiar stranger deftly prowling in your inner most thoughts, a place where dumbness never founded.

But Remember! The natural sensations that told me of this are what really matter! Now more than Ever before!
